hmmm, ninety five quid a ticket plus booking fees is dulling my appetite somewhat

I’d like my son to see him but the bad sound at Earls Court last time makes me wary. Having said that, the Born In The USA tour was unforgettable so maybe…..
dai says
@davebigpicture Earls Court was a notoriously bad place to see a band. Basically a seating area plonked down in the middle of a large exhibition place. So the sounds just echoes around and around.

How much? I’m not paying that much to be miles away watching a screen. Especially as The River is one of my least favourite Springsteen albums. They should have called in The Filler.
Bargepole says
£95 to sit miles from the stage, very possibly in the rain, with bad sound and a constant stream of people going to the bar, toilets etc – no thanks. Play some indoor shows.

Not for me. One stadium Bruce gig was enough to do me for life. Now if he comes over with The Sessions Band I may go to every gig.
dai says
I posted the dates already.
I have seen probably around 30 Stadium dates (not just Bruce) and have hardly ever been much more than 30 metres away from the stage. Just takes a little effort and knowledge of the ticket selling process.
DogFacedBoy says
One of the few artists than can make those stadium gigs work. Was fairly close on side seats at Wembley last time. Might try and get into the pit this time as effort is indeed its own reward

Would like to go and The River is up there with my favourite Bruce albums but I ain’t paying over £100 each for me and the wife. It just isn’t worth it.
