I think there are several potential Bond themes on their ‘Tales Of Us’, especially ‘Stranger’. Bond inna Mittel-Europa stylee. Would also work brilliantly if they ever reremade the Thomas Crown Affair. Which they no doubt will. . .
Jack White’s actual James Bond theme with Alicia Keys was bloody awful, but I always thought “Seven Nation Army” would have been great… imagine one of those action-packed 007 intro sequences, ending with some big explosion, and then that bassline coming out of it…
And I can’t YouTube from work, but Radiohead’s rejected “Spectre” theme is far better than the generic nonsense the producers actually went with…
