I know it’s a, um, “broad church” here. Some of us have children, some don’t. Some have little ones, some have grown ups.
So this is just a story about my 24 year old son.
We woke up this morning and I said to Mrs M “we haven’t heard from (our son) for a while”. So we did the FB Messenger thing. Turns out he was on a bus from one European city to another. We had a great rave. It was good that he was between cities, and not at home, or staying with someone. He had time to think, and talk, about what he was up to.
And I just thought, (and said to him) how much I loved him.
That’s all. I’ve loved him, and all my kids, since they were babies. But this was a special event. Somehow talking to him on this bus journey, where he was outside his usual wacky environment, was quite special.
Does anyone else know what I’m talking about?
Those with babies, or pre-teens, or teenagers, or grown up kids- it’s ALL THE SAME!!!
