….Stockport County 2, Salford City 0.
F.A. Cup. Brilliant news.
This means we won’t have endless televised Salford games, regardless of the quality of opposition, in order for the BBC to get interviews with (and keep in with) the…..erm…..”Class of 92″ (c).

Not only that it gives County an opportunity to earn a bit of much needed money. Certainly Plastic Salford with their rich ownership dont need it. Wonder when the “Class Of 92” will jump ship?

I get to watch the excellent Sculcoates AFC from my back window for nowt. None of your droning commentary bollocks either. Except from me.

Yesterday I saw Wells Town FC Reserves playing a team that played in the same strip as Arsenal. There the similarity to football ended, it made me realise that an old fatty with no footballing skills whatsoever could probably still get a game if I so wished. It started raining so I left 10 minutes into the second half.

I watched my local team, Penistone Church FC, get knocked out of the FA Cup back in August. I never knew they played FA Cup games back in August. My proper team, Barnsley, tend to get knocked out in either November or January, depending what division we’re in. We then use the 2nd or 4th round as an unofficial mid-season break.
